When you use myCallSheet, we may collect the following personal data:

Account information: Name, email address, Google account ID, and profile photo (via Google OAuth)
Profile information: Professional role, department, city, bio, languages, availability, showreel links, IMDb URL, core skills, work regions, formats
Contact information: Phone number and email address (provided voluntarily for display on your profile)
Address information: Street address, pincode, city, state, and landmark (provided during organisation registration)
Credits and filmography: Project titles, roles, years, languages, and production details
Payment information: Payment status and Razorpay payment ID (payment processing is handled by Razorpay; we do not store card numbers or bank details)
Messages: Content of messages exchanged with other users on the platform
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps of activity

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

To create and manage your account
To display your professional profile in the crew and services directories
To facilitate connections between crew, production companies, and service providers
To process subscription payments via Razorpay
To send email notifications about messages and platform activity
To improve the platform and user experience

3. Address Information

Full address information provided during registration (street address, pincode, landmark) is used solely for payment verification (Razorpay KYC) and is never displayed publicly, shared with other users, or used for marketing. Only your city and state are shown on your public profile.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

Profile visibility: Your profile information (name, role, city, bio, credits, availability) is publicly visible on the platform to facilitate professional connections
Payment processing: Limited data is shared with Razorpay to process subscription payments
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority
AI services: Bio generation and content assistance features use the Anthropic API. Data sent to this service is limited to professional context (role, credits) and is not stored by the service provider beyond processing

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by DigitalOcean and Laravel Forge. We use SSL encryption for all data in transit. Access to production servers is restricted to authorised personnel only.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

Access: Request a summary of your personal data and how it is being processed
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations)
Grievance redressal: Raise concerns about how your data is handled
Nominate: Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

myCallSheet uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
